Exude Happiness


There are many things we can do to exude happiness.⁠ You know the old saying... ".... it's an inside job"⁠ ⁠

So here's my "expert tips" on finding your happy this week⁠ ⁠

☀️ Get some Vitamin D ☀️ stepping out in the sunshine and feeling the warmth on your skin, even just for a moment reminds is such an easy feel-good⁠ ⁠

📖 Read a book 📖 Over the weekend, I've been getting off my phone and reading more books. Its a good way to distract your mind, and get lost in some history, or fantasy..... also, keeps your hands busy 🤘🏼✌🏼👐🏽⁠ ⁠

🕸 Clear the cobwebs 🕸 De-clutter a cupboard or room in your house - goodness knows my office needs a tidy up and my house needs a slight re-jig knowing that there's a baby turning up in Spring!⁠ ⁠

🍝 Cook a meal 🍝 Cooking puts me in a totally different headspace and keeps me distracted - no thermomix here (or microwave as even that spat the dummy late last week 🙄, so I am basically a 1950's housewife, sans apron).

Spaghetti is my go-to. Also major comfort food. AND good to have in the freezer.

Even better though? Sharing it with friends and family. Lets bring back the old-fashioned dinner parties with family and friends and re-connect with one another.⁠ ⁠

🙂 Smile 🙃 It takes nothing to smile (and make eye contact) at a stranger, especially an older person in the community - you never know, it could be the only person they connect with that day (sad, but true).⁠ ⁠

🌸 Have gratitude 🌸 Even for the smallest thing. Whenever I have a "bad" day, I get into bed and think "I am loved. I have a warm bed and roof over my head....."⁠ ⁠

Well there you have it. I don't know at all if I'm helping any one of you out there, but just writing this is making me feel a better.⁠ ⁠

Share. Connect. Find your happy. Then exude it.⁠ On repeat.⁠
