THE ● GRATITUDE ● DIARIES
As the days pass, I think we are all starting to see and feel little cracks in our personalities.
Yesterday, I had a LOT of tears.
As Zoe Foster Blake calls it "A Corona cry" (I think there'll be many CC's to come from all of us just quietly) 😣 and it wasn't something particularly large that tipped me over, it was just the straw that broke the camel's back..... 🐪
SIDE NOTE: Did you know that a camel with two humps is called a "Bactrian"?! (The things you learn when you're scrolling over emojis 😂🐫)
I digress..... actually, this takes me to another story about an emu..... or ME being an emu.
My friend Joe thinks I get distracted easily by shiny things..... so he always calls me an "emu."
Oops, another tangent! 😝 I love tangents. I love the word "tangent" (I love lamp.) 😬
OK.... focus..... GRATITUDE.
We are ALL going to have moments where we have a "Corona cry.."
For me, it was an automatic payment that drained my bank account, after I'd made a few online sales which gave me hope that my brand still mattered. I lost a bit of hope.
BUT in times where we feel lost and hopeless, it is important to remember what we DO have.
For me, gratitude is:
My home 🏡
Friends (who FaceTime) 👯
Knowing that we are ALL in this together. 🌏
I know some days are harder than others, but once you've had your CC 😭 for they day.
Get up. Show up.
Remember what you're grateful for (even if its just ONE tiny thing).
Write it down. I really do think we should be journalling (pen to paper - its cathartic) during these times and look back on this monumental piece of history in years to come.... We will be grateful we did.
And we will be grateful for what we had.
Wishing you a beautiful weekend Bombshells.
How is everyone feeling? 🌸
Who's doing what to pass the time? 💁🏼
